Prologue

I will post accounts of my travels as I find time to type them up.

The name of my blog was going to be "Rome, if you want to" which I thought was brilliant as it not only incorporated the name of the first main destination, but also referred to the line in the B-52s' song ("roam if you want to, roam around the world.") But apparently that line is taken on Blogger, and if you Google it you come up with a number of different results, proving that there is no such thing as originality (at least not in the sense that we like to think of it.)

Anyway, let me know if you have any comments (aside from pointing out spelling mistakes...)
